Projects

All our current and future projects follow a clear rule:

They must align with our DNA

(see “About Us”).

Our Project Philosophy

By limiting the geographical scope of our business, we reduce long transport and shipping distances

while remaining close to our customers.

This allows us to respond flexibly, provide personal service,

and take responsibility where it is visible.

In our procurement, too, we prioritize sustainable materials

and exceptionally high quality standards

in order to consciously extend the lifecycle of our products

and delay the need for unnecessary new purchases.

For us, our ecological footprint is not just a marketing term,

but a matter of daily practice.

20% for social projects

We donate 20% of the net order value.

This support goes to local or—at most—regional

social institutions, organizations, projects, or individuals

who provide proven assistance

but do not constantly remain in the public eye.

Transparent. Direct. No detours.

Neighbors helping neighbors

All these principles certainly do not make us

the most affordable provider on the market,

nor the largest.

However, that is not our goal.

We want to make a living from our honest craftsmanship—

with humility, respect,

and regard for the diversity of

people, animals, backgrounds, generations, nature, and the environment.

Hamburger Tierschutzverein

The Hamburg Animal Welfare Association of 1841 (HTV) operates the Süderstraße animal shelter in Hamburg-Hamm, the second-largest animal shelter in Germany. Each year, the association’s approximately 110 employees care for around 8,000 animals: dogs, cats, and small animals such as rabbits, reptiles, and birds, as well as wildlife like squirrels and hedgehogs, are all in our care. As a private association, we rely on donations and volunteer assistance, and we appreciate the generous support of the people of Hamburg. Further information and details on the various ways to support our animals can be found on the association's website.

The Erich Kästner School is a vibrant learning environment where children and young people receive individual support and are empowered in their personal development. In addition to a diverse curriculum, the school places great emphasis on social learning, creativity, and community engagement.

A distinctive feature is the wide range of school projects that make learning a practical, hands-on experience. These include, among others, a school flea market where students independently organize stalls and manage sales, as well as creative project weeks, sports events, environmental initiatives, and cultural projects. These activities foster teamwork, a sense of responsibility, and an entrepreneurial mindset.

The school views itself as a community centered on respect, tolerance, and solidarity. Its goal is not merely to impart knowledge, but to equip young people with the strength they need for life.
